What we do to protect what you entrust to Tilen, and who helps us do it.
Hosted in Europe
The application runs in Germany, with Hetzner, in Nuremberg.
Encrypted in transit
Every exchange with Tilen goes over HTTPS. The secrets you entrust to us (mailbox connections, API keys) are encrypted in the database.
Controlled access
Sign-in with a password or a Microsoft account; permissions per module and per person; your guests sign in with a code, on the device they choose to remember.
Nightly backups
The database and files are backed up every night and verified: one copy on the server, in Germany (14 nights), and one encrypted copy off the server, in Western Europe (30 nights, then one per month for a year). A check every morning.
A clear end of contract
Sixty days of read-only access to retrieve your data, then deletion and a certificate.
Our providers
The subprocessors that process data to run Tilen, module by module. A provider is only involved if the module that uses it is turned on. Online signature runs on our own servers: it adds no provider.
